This PC is an overclockable 4-core system with 16GB RAM. AMD RX 580 graphics is an excellent price-to-performance solution not only for gaming, but also 3D rendering tasks, all within a $1000 budget.
The customer requested a system for 3D programming, video editing and gaming, with a specific color theme requirement. It’s fully lit by ARGB (digital) LED lighting, allowing future lighting-theme change-ups as well.
With additional tuning we were able to improve performance through stable overclocks to CPU and GPU. The system runs at a moderate 4.3GHz CPU overclock at 1.25V Vcore - not too hot, and handled well by the Corsair H80i AIO liquid cooler. With a GPU tune-up as well, this saw the 3DMark Timespy score increase from 3838 (stock) to 4217 (tuned), granting a free 10% performance boost while remaining within the customer’s budget.
